Ingredients
  • 1large Banana, very ripe
  • 1/2cup Applesauce, Unsweetend
  • 2Tbsp Ground Golden Flaxseed
  • 1tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2tsp Ground Saigon Cinnamon
  • 1cup Oats, Old Fashioned Rolled
Instructions
  1. Preheat non-stick waffle griddle. Because of the extended time the waffles must cook, set the temperature of the griddle at a medium-low setting.
  2. Add the ripe banana, applesauce, cinnamon, ground golden flaxseed, and vanilla extract to a blender. Blend until very smooth. Then add rolled oats to blender. Pulse a few times until mixture comes together and flecks of the oats are visible.
  3. Pour 3/4 cup of batter onto heated griddle. Flatten batter slightly. Close the lid and allow to cook for 10 minutes. Do not open griddle before time. Use a chopstick to remove waffles from the griddle.
  4. Enjoy as is or top with your favorit fresh fruit, nuts, and or syrup!
