Fruity Quinoa Bowl

Ingredients
  • 1/3cup Quinoa
  • 2/3cup Water
  • 1/2tsp Cinnamon
  • 1Tbsp Golden Flaxseed, milled
  • 1Large Strawberry, Fresh
  • 4Medium Blackberries, Fresh
  • 1/2cup Blueberries, Fresh
  • 1/4cup Mango, Fresh(can use thawed frozen mango)
  • 1/4cup Plant-Based Milk, optional( unsweetened preferred)
Instructions
  1. Rinse Quinoa under running water using a strainer. Add 2/3 cups of water and rinsed Quinoa to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes on medium-low heat. Remove from heat, keep covered and allow to rest for 5 minutes.
  2. While Quinoa is cooking, prepare fruit. Rinse all fruit. Cut strawberries and mango into the desired size. Place all fruit into a bowl and set aside.
  3. Add cooked Quinoa, cinnamon, and ground Golden Flaxseed to a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Top with prepared fresh fruit.
  4. Pour milk over Quinoa and Fruit if desired. Give a quick stir thru. Enjoy!
